In 2015, the kids lived in Washington and I lived over 2,600 miles away in Georgia. Every month I would fly across the country to see them.
It was a time in my life that was very difficult because I missed them more than words could ever express. However, there were moments like the ones shared in this video that brought so much happiness to me.
In this video, the kids and I went out and bought some fishing pools. We did some fishing at a local fishing pond in Kennewick, WA.
Unfortunately, the kids don’t have a fishing expert for a father. Fortunately, they do have a father who couldn’t possibly love them more than he already does.
We didn’t catch any fish but we did catch a lot of smiles.
