We had a whopping 20 hours to spend in Myrtle Beach. We were rushing to explore as much of this part of the country as we could. We were traveling in from Asheville, NC and were traveling to Augusta, GA the next day.
Day 1
We arrived at Myrtle Beach in the late afternoon and scheduled a photoshoot for that evening. After a quick visit to the barber shop to get my beard trimmed up, we stopped by the hotel just long enough to iron and change clothes.
The incredible photographer, Christina Marie, with Palmetto Sunrise Photography met us at Myrtle Beach State Park quickly thereafter. She took the shots of Sam and I below.
I highly recommend her if you are looking for a photographer in the Myrtle Beach area. (Thank you, Christina!)

After the photoshoot, we had just enough time to walk the pier, hit up a seafood buffet, and cruise around the city for a bit.
Day 2
The next morning, Sam and I hit up the beach. It is amazing: the water is warm, the waves are large enough to play in, and there are miles of sandy beaches along the city’s coastline!
Don’t believe me? Take a look at these photos and video that I took with my DJI Mavic drone:

We played on the beach for a while before walking back to the hotel to lay out and swim in the pool.
In summary, our visit to Myrtle Beach was way too short! I can’t wait to get back there and explore the city even more.
