Insurance agents make money by selling insurance polices. They are given a commission per policy sold. In addition, and unique to the insurance industry, they are given a renewal commission for those policies when they renew. This allows the agent the ability to make significant amounts of money as they grow their book of business.

Insurance agents have the potential to make a lot of money as their income grows in tandem with their business growth. Justin knows agents that make over a million dollars per year.
